Yoga Therapy can help those completely new to yoga to those with a well established practice, and all those in between.

Private yoga classes or yoga therapy sessions are an excellent way to give yourself the time & space you need to explore yoga at your own pace. It is suitable for all levels of practitioners, beginners to well-seasoned. Whether you want to address emotional healing, find ways to support yourself while you heal from an injury or accommodate a physical or emotional condition, private sessions are usually offered in a series, in which I will develop a personalized program of practice for you. You can explore asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), yoga lifestyle or philosophy and more in your private sessions.

GROUP YOGA CLASSES
Group classes can be wonderful for the shared experience of moving and breathing together, and for moving into stillness and silence together.

Private yoga therapy is available by appointment. Choosing a private class allows you to explore a tailored practice designed around your own unique conditions, needs and goals. Whether you are just beginning yoga, have specific health conditions or injuries, or want to explore deeper aspects of yoga lifestyle and philosophy, my private classes are adapted to your individual needs. Come home to yourself through breath, movement & awareness and enjoy greater health, strength & well-being.

What happens in a Private Yoga Therapy session?
After an initial intake and information gathering, I will design a program specifically for you. It may include pranayama (breath work, yoga postures, meditation or lifestyle and diet suggestions, depending on your goals or issues. We will go over this together in your session and you'll be given a "yoga plan" & homework to follow between sessions. In exchange for your practice, you will soon begin to notice improvements - physically, mentally & emotionally. A regular yoga practice, even if only 10 minutes a day will help you feel more centered, balanced, light and joyful!
If you'd like to include yoga therapy as part of your practice of self-care, please contact me to set up an appointment. Sessions can be held at my home studio, in your home, or at a public yoga studio, depending on your needs.
