Cedar's goal is to empower you in coming home to yourself. Often because of trauma, and the stresses of life, we loose our connection to our own bodies, and our natural flowing breath. This has a big impact on our physical, emotional, and mental health. We can become cut off from our own inner knowing, our wisdom, intuition and instincts. However, that wisdom and intuition cannot be destroyed, only obscured. Our true self is always intact, whole and complete. Embodiment is key to making our way back to that wholeness, as is self-love and compassion. We don't have to re-invent the wheel, as there are many guideposts left through ancient seers, yogis and other wisdom practices from other traditions. My passion is to share tools for you to find your way back to your inherent wholeness, uniqueness, wisdom & joy.
Enjoy exploring this website and feel free to write to me with any questions!
Om shanti!

"DevaDaru":
"Devadaru" is a compound word from the Sanskrit language that translates as "divine wood", or more commonly an evergreen tree, and hence also, Cedar. I find the woods profoundly healing, so I was inspired to use this name as a way to convey my intention to share the potential of yoga to heal us on the deepest level. With a committed practice and study of yoga, we engage a path that restores us to our true nature, which is already and always whole and complete.
