Yoga for Seasonal Transitions
Taking time out for simple rituals and practices that honour the ancient festivals of the year and the cyclical wheel of time: Samhain (Oct. 31- Nov.2), Winter Solstice (Dec. 20-23), Imbolc (Feb. 1), Spring Equinox (March 20-23), Beltaine (May 1), & Summer Solstice (June 20-22). As we contemplate the festivals we see how interwoven the life of our psyche, our body, the planet and the sun and moon – for each festival time marks a potent conjunction of Time and Place in a way that is quite remarkable. Attuning to the ongoing cycles of time is a way to nurture and care for ourselves, harmonizing and aligning our energies with nature, coming together in community in honour and
reverence for the wise ways of nature and of our own inner wisdom.

Yoga for Spring Equinox
The Equinoxes are times of equal day and night all over the world. The forces of the light are on the increase in the northern hemisphere, where Spring is unfurling. The more recognizable beginnings of Spring are here, when the flowers are beginning to appear and
when the sowing begins in earnest.
What are you wanting to sow this year?
This practice will begin with a co-created spring ritual, offer time for refection, a few writing prompts, and a yoga practice that will be
both enlivening and restorative.
Pre-register by contacting Cedar.
Sliding scale $35 - $45

Yoga for Autumn Equinox
Around September 21st each year, the Celtic tradition celebrates equilibrium when we have equal day and night at the autumn equinox. After this point on the wheel, we gradually move toward winter and the days shorten until the winter solstice, around December 21st. Coming together in a ceremonial practice as we acknowledge and attune to the changes of season. At this time of year the shift from long, active, bright days, to shorter, cooler days is obvious. This practice offers you an opportunity to take time out for yourself to reflect and attune to the changes reflected around us. This is also the time of the fall harvest, and of receiving the bounty of the earth
before her time of rest .
The yoga practice is curated to help us embrace this transition into a more ‘yin’ time of year, to find more space physically,
emotinally & mentally. The postural practice will be mostly restful & supportive. Let go, relax, find ease & restore.
Please register soon, as spaces go quickly.
Exact location & other details sent upon registration.
